Why do I need to submit my Centre Devised Assessment (CDA) before I use it?
Submitting your Centre Devised Assessments (CDAs) before you unleash them on learners allows for an independent double-check of your assessment design against the specification requirements for the qualification.
We want to avoid an assessment being completed by a learner and it not providing enough evidence for an award to be made. This would be picked up during External Quality Assurance (EQA) when you first claim for certificates and we would need to go back to the learner to ask for more evidence, which isn’t ideal for anyone.
We only need to check CDAs once at the start, and then if you make any changes to them.
You can submit your CDA for review via your Verve account. Just look for the ‘CDA Submission’ button on the front page
