Who sets the topic for Functional Skills English speaking and listening assessments?

Centres are permitted to set their own speaking and listening topics, but these must be approved by TQUK before they are used in live assessments. Alternatively, centres are able to access a bank of TQUK-devised speaking and listening topics that are ready to go. These can be found on Verve and our website here. You can submit your centre-devised assessments (CDA) for approval by our team through this form.
