Where does the knowledge test for the Town Planning Assistant standard take place and who is involved? 

The knowledge test can be taken in person with a paper-based assessment or remotely via online means.

Paper-based assessments typically take place at the employer’s or training provider's premises, and the training provider will be in the room with the apprentice to invigilate during the exam.

We use an online software for remote assessments. Please make sure you know how it works- an email will be sent with instructions to test and operate the system before your exam date. The session is fully recorded and will be invigilated by the Assessment Team. The booking for this test is made between the apprentice, training provider and the TQUK Assessment Team.

Whether paper-based or online, the time and date of the knowledge test are agreed between the apprentice and your assessor at the gateway meeting.
