What is sampling and how long does it take?

Making sure certificate requests are valid, centres are delivering high quality assessments and learners have really earned their achievement is vital to us, and that’s where sampling comes in.  

Sampling occurs when certificates are claimed for learners who have completed a qualification. As part of the process, a member of our Quality Team contacts you to request evidence of work for randomly selected learners and units from the claim. 

Once we have what we need, we involve one of our EQAs, who completes the process within 10 working days.
