What is an observation of practice?

In an observation of practice, an End-Point Assessor views an apprentice as they undertake a task or series of tasks that would typically constitute part of their day-to-day working practices.

The Assessor asks questions during and/or after the observation to help them gain a more detailed understanding of the apprentice's learning.
