Who is eligible for a foundation apprenticeship?
Typically, the apprentice must normally be aged 16 to 21 at the start of their apprenticeship. Individuals aged 22 to 24 can also apply if they meet specific criteria, such as:
• having an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP)
• being care-experienced
• being in prison or recently released.
