General
Does the multiple choice question test need to be invigilated?
This assessment must be completed under controlled conditions, which means it must be invigilated.
To provide the greatest level of flexibility we offer a range of ways in which MCQs can be completed, such as on-screen and paper-based.
Where on-screen is selected, we also offer the option for remote invigilation to be accessed using our exams system. This means that an Assessor doesn’t need to be present when the apprentice undertakes this assessment.
Instead, the system allows you to use a webcam-enabled device so we can invigilate through the system. A series of still images are captured alongside audio, enabling us to review the assessment shortly after completion to verify that it took place in line with exam conditions.
The Apprentice Pack or brief outlines the different face-to-face, paper-based options where the training provider or one of our End-Point Assessors can act as an invigilator.
However, where preferred the assessment can be completed in the presence of an invigilator.
