What is a special consideration?
A special consideration covers actions taken to account for a temporary issue that could impede your performance during an assessment. For example, an injury or ill health suffered on the day of or in the build-up to an assessment.
Special considerations are different to reasonable adjustments. A reasonable adjustment is applied for cases where an apprentice has a long-term disability or difficulty.
It’s important you understand both terms in detail, so please read our Reasonable Adjustments and Special Considerations policy for more information.
