General
How will I know if an apprentice has cancelled their end-point assessment, or any component of it?
Apprentices are unable to cancel any element of their end-point assessment without their training provider completing a change request form. Where apprentices contact their assessor, or TQUK directly, they will be referred back to their training provider.
There may be instances where an apprentice contacts their end-point assessor out-of-hours (for example, at the weekend) to say that they are unwell or unable to complete their EPA component booked for the next day. When this happens, the end-point assessor will accept this cancellation and ask that the apprentice works with their training provider to complete a change request form to rearrange the component that has been cancelled.
Short-notice cancellations may incur a charge to the employer. For clarity, ny emails between the apprentice and the TQUK end-point assessor will include the training provider and employer.
