General
Where does the observation for the Lead Practitioner in Adult Care standard take place and who is involved?
The Observation for the Leader in Adult Care standard can be taken face-to-face or remotely on teams.
Face-to-face assessments typically take place at the apprentice employer’s or training provider's premises, with the End-Point Assessor present, along with appropriate organisational staff.
We use Microsoft Teams for online assessment, so please ensure the apprentice has downloaded this software and is familiar with how it works. A video conference between the apprentice and the End-Point Assessor is arranged. The End-Point Assessor invigilates the apprentice while they take the exam. The session is recorded in full for further reference and quality purposes.
Whether face-to-face or online, the time and date of the observation are agreed between the apprentice and End-Point Assessor at the assessment planning meetin
