Where does the knowledge test for the Business Administrator standard take place and who is involved?
The knowledge test for the Business Administrator standard can be taken in-person, via a paper-based assessment, or remotely, via online means.
Paper-based assessments typically take place at the employer’s or training provider's premises, and the training provider will be in the room with the apprentice to invigilate during the exam.
We use Civica online software for online assessments, an email will be sent with instructions to test and operate the system before the exam date. The session is fully recorded by Civica and will be invigilated by the Assessment Team. The booking for this test is made between the apprentice, the training provider and the TQUK Assessment Team.
Whether paper-based or online, the time and date of the knowledge test are agreed upon between the apprentice, training provider, employer and TQUK Assessment Team at the gateway.
