At the gateway meeting, the employer should confirm that the apprentice is working at or above the occupational standard of a Learning Mentor.

Confirmation that the required functional skills, ICT and safeguarding qualifications have been achieved and the portoflio showcase has been completed.

The location of assessments will be discussed and agreed upon.
