What will be discussed during the gateway meeting for the Early Years Educator apprenticeship standard?

Within the gateway meeting, the training provider will discuss with the apprentice and employer the following information:

• A photographic ID, such as a passport or driving licence, is needed.

• Confirmation of Functional Skills in English and Maths Level 2 with a certificate or evidence to confirm this has been completed is needed.

• Confirmation that the relevant first aid training has been completed, and evidence to be provided.

• Location of assessments to be discussed and confirmed if face-to-face or remote.

• A portfolio of evidence is to be covered, discussed, and mapped into the mapping and tracking document.
