What happens if the apprentice fails the practical observation for the Hairdressing Professional standard and needs to resit or re-take it?

If the apprentice fails any of the assessment components, they will be eligible for a resit or retake at the apprentice's employer's discretion.

Resits and retakes are not offered to apprentices wishing to move from a pass to a higher grade.

In case of a resit or a retake apprentice’s overall end-point assessment grade will be capped at a pass.
