What happens if the apprentice fails the portfolio-based interview for the Poultry Technician standard and needs to resit or retake it?

If the apprentice fails any assessment components, they will be eligible for a resit or retake. A resit does not require further learning, whereas a retake does.

Resits/retakes will not be offered to apprentices wishing to move from pass to distinction.

If the apprentice requires a resit or retake, their overall end-point assessment grade will be capped at a pass, unless Training Qualifications UK determines there are exceptional circumstances.
