What happens if the apprentice fails the observation with professional dialogue for the Learning and Skills Teacher standard?

If an apprentice fails any of the assessment components, they will be eligible for a resit or retake, at the apprentice's employer's discretion.

If an apprentice requires a resit or retake, the apprentice will be awarded a maximum EPA grade of pass.

Apprentices are not permitted to resit/retake in an attempt to achieve a higher grade.

All resits/retakes must be taken within six months of the EPA outcome notification, otherwise, the entire EPA must be retaken.

Resits are typically taken within two months of the EPA outcome notification, and retakes are typically taken within four months of the EPA outcome notification.
