What happens if the apprentice fails the observation for the Hair Professional standard (Hairdressing) and needs to resit or retake it?

If the apprentice fails any of the assessment components, they will be eligible for a resit or retake at the apprentice's employers discretion.

Resits and retakes are not offered to apprentices wishing to move from a pass to a higher grade.

In case of a resit or a retake apprentice’s overall end-point assessment grade will be capped at a pass.
