What happens if the apprentice fails the observation for the Barbering standard and needs to resit or retake it?

If the apprentice fails any of the assessment components, they will be eligible for a resit or retake at the apprentice's employer's discretion.

Resits and retakes are not offered to apprentices wishing to move from a pass to a higher grade.

In case of a resit or a retake apprentice’s overall EPA grade will be capped at a pass.
