What does partial submission mean for a voided exam?

If an exam has resulted in a void outcome and the reason given was partial submission, this means that the invigilator was unable to see the full exam. This may be due to connection or hardware issues that prevent a full recording. In this instance, the invigilator cannot verify that the exam was taken under exam conditions and must therefore void the submission. This decision is not taken lightly, and all void outcomes are checked by at least two invigilators.
