Portfolio-based interview

What content should be covered in the portfolio-based interview for the Business Administrator standard?

This assessment is designed for the apprentice to showcase key learning and development they have undertaken throughout their apprenticeship programme regarding the appropriate knowledge, skills, and behaviours.

It is underpinned by the portfolio of evidence, which includes:

• reflective journals

• witness statements

• manager statements

• peer, customer and other stakeholder feedback forms

• meeting minutes/emails

• work-based evidence/work products.

The portfolio should comprise the employer's practical observation and/or evaluation. It could be an acknowledgement of the apprentice demonstrating a skill or proof of project work containing comments from a manager. This will be discussed during the interview.
