How should the apprentice prepare for the competence interview?

The apprentice can bring a copy of their portfolio along to the competence interview and also up to two pages of A4 notes. Notes can either be one page of A4 notes back-to-back or two single-sided pieces of A4. Further guidance on the writing of notes is available within the Apprentice handbook. If the apprentice does choose to bring notes along to the competence interview, a copy of these notes must be sent to the allocated End-Point Assessor 24 hours before the assessment via email. In preparation for the competence interview, the apprentice should read the Apprentice Brief and familiarise themselves with the supporting knowledge, skills and behaviours.
