How is the knowledge test for the Early Years Practitioner standard graded?

The knowledge test is graded as fail, pass or distinction.

Scores of 0-25 points will be graded as a fail.

Scores 26-31 will be graded at a pass if at least three of the five questions relating to K5 (safeguarding) and K8 (health and safety) are answered correctly.

Scores 32-40 will be graded as a distinction if at least three of the five questions relating to K5 (safeguarding) and K8 (health and safety) are answered correctly.
